Walter House

At the end of Azalea Lane is a yellow house, purchased by John Amiss Walter, that dates to the Civil War. (John Amiss Walter was a son of Charlie Walter, whose wife was Harriet Amiss.) The owners hid their meat under the house to protect if from Union troops. The house is now owned by Stanley McGhee.
