Amissville.com is created out of love for beautiful Rappahannock County and especially for the village of Amissville. This website is designed, maintained and paid for by Ken and Averill Ring of Irisweb.net, Inc., in our desire to share some of the beauty of the area and its people with folks who haven't been here and might yet come -- and with those of you who are fortunate to live here.
We
invite and appreciate "audience participation" in the site.
We'll be more than happy to post your photos in our Photo Album and to
list your business in our Business Directory. Any contributions of historical
photographs and/or anecdotes will be gratfully added to our History pages,
and we will gladly post information about local community organizations
and activities. All you need do is write

It is our intent to keep the site and its activities confined to the Amissville area (which is politically undefined but we can guess at its rough boundaries and stretch it as needed--this IS our site, after all!), although important activities occurring in Rappahannock County are welcome on Amissville.com.
